Hazardous Materials Technician

Cutting edge delivery of up to date strategy and tactics for safe, offensive operations on incidents involving hazardous materials. This course is a "hands on" approach to hazmat mitigation and qualifies students to sit for either Proboard or IFSAC certification. This course is based on NFPA 472, "Standard for Professional Competence of Responders to Hazardous Materials Incidents". This class is an action packed 16-hour delivery that will show students how to safely evaluate risk, determine building behavior as it relates to recreation time, and establish true "safe" fire ground operations.
